In all his 38 years of keeping and racing pigeons, since the age of 7, Chris Gibson has only ever been interested in one thing and one thing only, results. Not just striving to achieve his own success but also closely following the results of others, particularly when looking to introduce pigeons into his own loft. Also, importantly, looking closely at the circumstances under which they won, with the pedigree playing little part in his selection when bringing birds in, only that it showed generations of winners from the back to the front.

A very small, but exceptional quality auction…!!!
Pat has become a popular figure in the sport in recent years, and is there any wonder when you sit and analyse the results he achieves. Endless amount of 1st Federations not to mention 2nd 3rd 4th’s Etc etc. This year again being Top Prize winner in the Federation, and all with only sending to just one young bird race at the back end of the season due to family commitments early in the young bird season. I, myself have witnessed on a number of occasions, Pat having 20+ pigeons dropping to the loft in a very short space of time, only for Pat to have just 4 or 5 pigeons read from his clock at the club, when in reality he would have had 15 to 20 birds in the first 30 of the Federation result several times during the 2023 old bird season….!!! And in just the one young bird race he did send too he broke the Federation record by taking the first 13 places in the Fed……
These results together with his very honest, calm, quiet and unassuming manner is what makes Pat’s family of pigeons so very sought after. Not to mention that the only pigeons he ever sells are a select few each year with NPH Pigeons, with feedback of winning results coming back each and year…!!!
